I just got out of prison (no big deal), reunited with my brother Elwood, and now? We're on a mission from God.
That mission just so happens to involve music, mayhem, car chases, and one very important stop: FOOD & A FLICK: THE BLUES BROTHERS on Thursday, March 19th at McWethy's Tavern.
We are taking over the screen for one night only...showing the cult classic that literally starts right here in Joliet, features the greatest sunglasses commitment in cinematic history, and captures performances by the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown & more.
WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA, BROTHER?
This is Food & a Flick, where the film plays loud and proud while Executive Chef Dan Casey & his culinary team deliver a multi-course experience inspired by what's happening on the screen. As Jake and Elwood dodge cops and country bands, the food keeps coming: timed, themed and meant to make you feel like you're riding shotgun in the Bluesmobile.
